Why Mercy
Founded in 1985, Mercy International now houses over 140 children and babies who have come from risk or crisis situations or had been orphaned by HIV/AIDS.

Finanacial support for Mercy International's operations comes from individuals, clubs, businesses and churches in Australia and other countries. Mercy International also operates a child sponsorship scheme. Short-term visits provide a wonderfull opportunity to meet your sponsored child and other children who are still awaiting a sponsor.

God has blessed the work of Mercy International. The organisation has been able to steadily expand its' services to address unmet needs. Currently, there's the beautiful well established children's village and Christian school in Phetchabun. Construction is underway on another children's village in Phrae. A Mercy International community-based outreach service for AIDS affected families has been operating in this district for several years. An attractive centre with a loving atmosphere for HIV+/AIDS children is located in Khon Kaen. An English-language school is operating successfully in the city of Sisiket.
